An Emotional Engagement Session at the Griffith Observatory

A Griffith Observatory Love Story

In the early hours of a cold February day, I had the privilege of photographing A & B’s engagement photos at the Griffith Observatory. As we explored the grounds of the iconic Griffith Observatory and the trails that lead to it, the pink mists of the early morning soon gave way to a clear view of the entire Los Angeles skyline. And when the tourists finally began to stream in, we left, having had the terraces of the Griffith Observatory almost entirely to ourselves for a blissful few hours.

Photoshoots at the Griffith Observatory

One of Los Angeles’s most iconic landmarks, the Griffith Observatory is a natural choice for an engagement session. Nestled in the Hollywood Hills, this sanctuary offers panoramic views of the city, glimpses of the Hollywood sign, and stunning architecture.

Fun fact: Did you know the Griffith Observatory has been featured in many films and TV shows, like “Rebel Without a Cause,” “The Terminator,” and “Back to the Future”?
