My story and approach
My career began in economics and policy, but I was always pulled toward something more creative—work in which I could immerse myself in the most beautiful parts of being human: love, and the way we remember it. I studied light, shadow, and composition. I learned what it takes to make a portrait that feels alive. But what I've come to value most are the human connections, the way a camera can bring people joy and give their memories a place to live.
My work blends editorial composition with documentary storytelling, shot on both film and digital. I care deeply about beautiful light and clean framing but never at the expense of real moments. My images are thoughtfully composed but never overdirected. For portraits, I'll guide you, giving you small adjustments, gentle prompts, and a few ideas to help you feel natural in front of the camera. For everything else, I step back and let your day unfold.
