A Documentary Sensibility
Our wedding films lean documentary and chronological rather than highly produced. We're interested in telling the story of what actually happened during your day: your grandpa laughing through tears, a bridesmaid fixing someone's bow tie, the two of you slipping away for a moment alone. We use beautiful light and thoughtful framing, but we don't stage moments and we don't chase effects. The result is a wedding video that feels like your day as it was.
Every wedding videography package includes a cinematic highlight film, a full documentary edit, and a social media reel—the complete record of your day and something beautiful to share.

I work with a small, trusted team of associate videographers who film alongside me. Every wedding film is edited with consistency and overseen by me personally—you're not handed off after booking. The person behind the camera is someone I've collaborated with extensively, and the final film is shaped by the same sensibility that shapes our photography.
Who will film our wedding?
Both are included in every package, and they do different things. The highlight film is cinematic and concise, a short film that follows the arc of your day, set to music, designed to be watched start-to-finish and shared with people who weren't there. The documentary edit is the fuller record, your ceremony and speeches in their entirety, along with a broader edit of the day. It's the version you'll return to when you want to hear your vows exactly as spoken or listen to your best friend's toast in full. Together, they give you both the feeling of the day and the record of it.
What's the difference between the highlight film and the documentary edit?
Every package already includes a full documentary edit: a longer, chronological film with your ceremony and speeches in their entirety. This is what most couples are thinking of when they ask about "raw footage"—organized, usable, and watchable end to end.
Genuinely unedited raw footage isn't something we provide. What's captured on the day isn't designed to be viewed unedited. There's handheld motion, audio checks, footage filmed to be trimmed. The documentary edit is what you actually want.
Can we get all the raw footage?
Speeches, vows, and ceremony audio are captured through professional-grade microphones: lavalier mics on the officiant and speakers, a recording of the sound board, and a separate recording system at the reception. Sound quality is something we take seriously; it's a big part of what makes a wedding film watchable years later.
How is the sound handled?
Super-8 is an analog film format perfect for capturing your wedding in a way that feels completely raw and unposed. Our couples love Super 8 film for its artistic, nostalgic qualities. Super-8 films may be added onto any photo or video package.
