Cozy Apple Orchard Engagement in Yucaipa on 35mm Film and Digital
Lizette and Cory are the most in love. I don’t know how to describe it, other than to say that their connection is … charismatic. They’re one of those couples whose affection for each other is magnetic, pulling in everyone around them. Spending the day with them in the San Bernardino Mountains, wandering through apple trees and past lakes and meadows, felt like I was witnessing and capturing scenes out of a classic romance.
The following images are from the first half of our engagement session, at the Los Rios Rancho apple orchard in Yucaipa, California. The orchard was just past apple season, giving us freedom to explore the orchard with relative privacy. We ran through the lines of trees, jumped into leaf piles, and enjoyed the crisp late-autumn air. (Check out the second half of Lizette and Cory’s engagement session in the San Bernardino Mountains here.)

35mm Film Photography
Throughout the engagement session, I took some photos with 35mm film, which I’ll share below. Film is a timeless, beautiful medium that I love to include in sessions. I find it inspiring and emotive.
