Romantic San Bernardino Mountains Engagement Session on 35mm Film and Digital
After the first half of Lizette and Cory’s engagement session at the Los Rios Rancho apple orchard in Yucaipa, we set out in search of mountain views and autumn vibes. We found them in Forest Falls, a charming town near Big Bear where we found towering trees, vibrant yellow and gold leaves decorating quaint roads, and grand views of the San Bernardino Mountains.
Our first stop in Forest Falls was a trailhead off Valley of the Falls Drive (even the name sounds dreamy!), which led directly into a dry creek bed. Lizette and Cory bundled up in leather jackets and boots that contrasted with the scenic mountain views and pine trees in the coolest way. Next, we explored the town, and we ended up finding a beautiful private road lined with bright yellow leaves and autumn foliage.
For anyone looking for changing seasons and falling leaves for their engagement photoshoot close to Southern California, I highly recommend a day trip to Forest Falls.
