Intimate Garden Wedding in Los Angeles
For sweet couple S & N, the perfect wedding day didn’t require a grand ballroom or far-off destination. Instead, they chose the most meaningful venue possible—the groom’s family home. Set in the Los Angeles area, their early autumn wedding felt warm and inviting, with a carefully planned flow and thoughtful, personal design details that transformed a familiar place into something magical.
The Couple’s Story
S & N first met through friends the summer before their junior year of college. While living in different places, they built a connection through long FaceTime calls, including one that lasted six hours without either of them noticing. Years later, on their fifth anniversary, N proposed quietly at home, honoring their shared wish for a private, heartfelt moment. They said “I do” exactly one year later, on their sixth anniversary.
A Home Transformed for a Wedding Day
The day began with the bride and groom getting ready inside of the family home as the front yard was transformed into a ceremony space, framed by greenery and early-fall blooms. After saying their vows, the guests moved into the backyard, where string lights cast a soft glow over round tables. The setting felt elevated and cozy—the best of a garden wedding and a family gathering.
With a color palette of sage green, blush, peach, champagne, and ivory, every floral arrangement and table detail felt intentional.
