That’s why they chose Hangar 21 in Fullerton, California—a unique venue where couples can quite literally take their love to new heights. With classic emerald, black, and gold details, a loyal pup as guest of honor, and a helicopter entrance that wowed every guest, their wedding day was nothing short of unforgettable.

Leslie & Manny’s Story

The couple’s love story started with a swipe—they met on Bumble and quickly connected. Manny’s proposal was incredibly romantic and reflected their love of travel and a good time: a trip to Seattle, cocktails at the Space Needle, and a sunset proposal with the city lights below. “It was perfect,” Leslie says, and that same romantic spirit carried into their wedding day.

Getting Married at Hangar 21 South

The day began at Orange County wedding venue Hangar 21, where Leslie and Manny got ready on site. They skipped the first look, saving the magic or their ceremony—which featured the beloved and very-good-girl Luna the dog proudly joining them at the altar. After saying their vows, the couple slipped away for golden hour portraits out on the airport tarmac before boarding a helicopter for a private aerial tour. When they returned, they landed directly into their reception, to the sound of cheers and applause.

The reception transformed the hangar site into a glowing party space, with elegant emerald and gold decor paired with classic white floral arrangements. Guests danced the night away, enjoyed live violin and cello performances, and captured memories in a vintage photo bus. It was the perfect mix of modern elegance and unforgettable fun.
