Cliffside Palos Verdes Engagement Session

Romantic Palos Verdes engagement photography session at golden hour on the cliffside overlooking the ocean

Some love stories unfold like a screenplay. This is the case for E & P, who first met in the film program at Loyola Marymount University, where P offered to read over E’s script so he’d have an excuse to talk to her. Years later, he proposed on a rainy morning at Playa Del Rey beach, convincing her to take a walk even though the skies had opened up. With the sand and waves completely to themselves, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him—a scene that felt straight out of a romance movie.

Windswept Romance on the Cliffs of Palos Verdes Estates

Their engagement session took palce on an autumn afternoon along the rugged trails of Palos Verdes. The cliffs glowed with warm red rock, the ocean stretching endlessly in the background. The wind carried just enough movement to give a natural editorial energy to the portraits.

As the afternoon softened into golden hour, the colors of the cliffs deepened and the Pacific shimmered with light. These in-between moments—wind tousling hair, quiet glances, the gentle rhythm of the waves—told the truest story of who E & P are together: romantic, cinematic, and deeply connected.
