A Los Angeles Love Story
Colin and Kristen’s long-burn love started in their college theater department, where they became best friends during a production together. That best-friendship spanned ten years and a country apart until one day they both found themselves back in Los Angeles—and finally started dating.
Why Griffith Park?
When chatting with Colin and Kristen about where they wanted to take their engagement photos, they told me about their proposal story and decided they wanted to take their engagement pictures at the place where they actually became engaged.
On the day of their proposal, they went for a hike with their dogs to Cedar Grove in Griffith Park, Kristen’s favorite place in Los Angeles. They had a picnic—something we recreated during their engagement session—and, while looking out at the Los Angeles vista, Colin asked Kristen to marry him.
