Creative Downtown Los Angeles Engagement | Gabby + Hunter
Gabby and Hunter’s Downtown Los Angeles engagement session was full of character and charm—just like them. From cozy corners of the Last Bookstore to the glowing lights of Grand Central Market at night, their session unfolded like a love letter to LA: a little quirky, endlessly artistic, and completely alive. (And it doesn’t hurt that they have literally Pride and Prejudice levels of romantic chemistry.)
An Artistic Love Story in the Heart of the City
The couple met. through a college a cappella group, where music and shared moments sparked something special early on. Years later, Hunter proposed with twinkle lights, music, and a circle of their closest friends cheering from the sidelines.
Downtown Los Angeles Engagement Photos
We started their session inside the iconic Last Bookstore, where tunnels of books, rows of records, and creative installations set the mood. The space feels tailor-made for people who see the world a little differently, and photographing Gabby and Hunter there felt like watching a romance novel come to life.
As the sun set, we stepped into Grand Central Market, a juxtaposition to the bookstore’s stillness. With the streets and neon signs humming around them, Gabby and Hunter twirled and ran through the market. Every location felt expressive, intentional, and full of magic.
Their session was a reminder that engagement photos can be more than pretty backdrops—they can be layered, meaningful, and genuinely fun. Gabby and Hunter brought their full selves to this shoot, and I’m forever grateful. ❤️
