Grace and Peter’s beautiful outdoor wedding at The Garland in North Hollywood was filled with classic romance, big emotions, and blending of traditions.

Their love bloomed as a secret office romance—that remained secret to some right up to the day of their wedding, when officiant Nico Raineau of RomCom Weddings told their story to an audience of wedding guests, some of whom were former coworkers (you can watch the full wedding ceremony at The Garland here).

THEIR ENGAGEMENT: Grace and Peter’s engagement photos were taken at the Wisdom Tree in Los Angeles.

The day started in the Beverly Park at The Garland, the small park within the grounds of the iconic hotel named for its original owner, actress Beverly Garland. The couple shared a private first look at the fountain in the center of the park, a moment of quiet reflection and connection before the party began.

We walked around the garden and took wedding portraits by the trees and the gate at the entrance to the park, and then we were joined by the couple’s small wedding party and family for formal portraits.

The couple’s ceremony blended traditions from the bride’s Mexican heritage (such as the lasso, which is placed around the couple to symbolize unity) and the groom’s Jewish heritage (such as the breaking of the glass by the groom, symbolizing the fragility of life). After the ceremony, the guests enjoyed a lively cocktail hour, serenaded by a mariachi band.

The outdoor reception that followed was decorated elegantly by Bunni Events, with classic white linens, colorful springtime florals from Mitsukis Floral, and a gorgeous cake from Sweet Delicious Bakery. PopVision Band kept the dance floor full all night.
